After many years managing recruitment in London, Sharon moved north in search of new experiences and found herself at Edinburgh Napier University using her expertise to prepare students to shine in graduate recruitment processes whilst also coordinating our Student Ambassador programme which enables students to work part time in different roles across the University.

As our Team Leader, Sharon is responsible for the smooth-running of the Employer Opportunities Team and our ever growing annual calendar of opportunities. And if that wasn’t enough, she is also developing a work based project model for Masters students. Embracing the work hard play hard philosophy, Sharon can often be found rowing down the Firth of Forth or sashaying with her Samba band.

Emily is our resident event management specialist and she spends her day ensuring employers are able to connect with our students via a wide range of events and opportunities. With a background in the corporate sector, she really understands the needs of employers and is always looking for new and imaginative ways to bring together student and employer for mutual benefit.

Our myFuture Festival in October and Career Café afternoons are both innovations introduced by Emily and there is still more to come! If you have ideas for creative student engagement – Emily will be all ears. After a hard day’s work she is lucky enough to escape to join her family in North Berwick – fish and chips on the beach anyone?
